Q.: It has been reported that Toshiba’s nuclear power subsidiary Westinghouse will file for bankruptcy as early as today. As you previously pointed out, a decision on filing for bankruptcy will likely be made by the end of March, but do you think that this will help Toshiba move forward in releasing its financial statements?
A.: I am aware of the news report you mentioned, but since whether or not Westinghouse should file for bankruptcy, that is, for Chapter 11 protection, is a business decision to be made by a specific company, I would like to refrain from commenting.
