August 7, 2015: | Publication of draft amendments to cabinet office ordinances and regulatory notices to introduce Basel III capital buffer for internationally active banks «Summary» The FSA proposed draft amendments to cabinet office ordinances (including the Order Providing for the Categories, etc. Prescribed in Article 26, Paragraph (2) of the Banking Act) and regulatory notices to introduce Basel III capital buffer rules for internationally active banks. The capital buffer rules will be phased in from 2016 through 2019 based on international consensus. The FSA will finalize the ordinances and notices after a one-month public-consultation. |
