August 26, 2015:

Publication of draft guidelines to eliminate discrimination against people with disabilities in the businesses under the supervision of the FSA «Summary» The FSA proposed draft guidelines to eliminate discrimination against people with disabilities in the businesses under the supervision of the FSA. The draft guidelines stipulate appropriate attitudes that business operators under supervision of the FSA should take towards people with disabilities. The draft guidelines are based on the “Act for Eliminating Discrimination against Persons with Disabilities.”

August 26, 2015:

Publication of draft standards of appropriate attitude of the FSA’s officials to eliminate discrimination against people with disabilities «Summary» The FSA proposed draft standards of appropriate attitude of the FSA’s officials to eliminate discrimination against people with disabilities. The standards stipulate the appropriate attitudes that the officials of the FSA should take toward the people with disabilities. The standards are based on the “Act for Eliminating Discrimination against Persons with Disabilities.”

Publication of statistics regarding unlawful reimbursement of deposits «Summary» The FSA published statistics on unlawful reimbursement of deposits caused by counterfeit and stolen cash cards, stolen deposit books, and unlawful internet banking activities. The statistics include details of incidents and compensation made by financial institutions based on reports from financial institutions.

August 28, 2015:

Publication of a summary of the survey on financial institutions' preventive measures against unlawful reimbursement of deposits (as of March 31, 2015) «Summary» The FSA published a summary of the survey on financial institutions' preventive measures against unlawful reimbursement of deposits as of the end of FY 2014. In order to grasp the status of enforcement of the “Act on Protection of Depositors and Postal Saving Holders from Unauthorized Automated Withdrawal, Using Counterfeit Cards, and Stolen Cards,” the FSA collects information annually from financial institutions and publishes the summary.

August 28, 2015:	Administrative penalty charge against individuals for committing insider trading regarding the stocks of TOMEN ELECTRONICS CORPORATION (1) (2) «Summary» On August 27, 2015, the FSA issued orders to impose administrative penalty charges in two cases regarding the insider trading of TOMEN ELECTRONICS CORPORATION stocks, using information received from an officer of the company who concluded a contract with the tender offeror.
August 28, 2015:	Updated list of entities that are operating financial instruments businesses without proper registration (Kanto Local Finance Bureau) «Summary» The FSA (Kanto Local Finance Bureau) issued warnings to entities1 that are operating financial instruments businesses without proper registration. Kabushiki Kaisha SMB Shōken*, Kabushiki Kaisha Sanyo Shōken*, TFO Administration Office, Optimus Financial Services, Ltd., and Hogg Capital Investments Ltd. were warned against operating financial instruments businesses without proper registration. *These corporate names written in Roman characters are not available in English

August 27, 2015:

2015 campaign for multiple-debt problem consultation «Summary» From September 1 through December 31, 2015, the FSA, Local Finance Bureaus, local governments, and related organizations cooperate to hold an annual campaign based on the "Program to Remedy the Multiple Debt Problem" decided in 2007 by the headquarters for the multiple debt problems in the Cabinet Office. During the campaign, free of charge consultation services are provided nationwide and publicity activities are held to encourage the potential multiple debtors to come to the consultation counters.
