Notice of International Conference on
A Perspective of Asian Financial Sector under the Global Financial Crisis

The Financial Research and Training Center (FRTC) will co-host an international conference on “A Perspective of Asian Financial Sector under the Global Financial Crisis” with the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the Asian Development Bank Institute (ADBI) and Keio University (Global COE Project; Market Quality Project) on January 21, 2010, at The Central Common Government Offices No. 7 in Tokyo.

The conference will examine how banks in Asian countries have been affected by the current global financial crisis, and consider through panel discussions a desirable approach to supervision and regulation of financial activities from the viewpoint of maintaining financial stability and also underpinning economic recovery and sustainable economic expansion.
