International Conference “EU Asia Corporate Governance Dialogue”

The Financial Research Center of the Financial Services Agency (FSA Institute) organized an international conference with the European Commission, the European Corporate Governance Institute, the University of Tokyo and other institutions on July 6, 2012. The event was attended by over 200 participants from the financial sector, the government, the business sector and academia.

The conference examined topics such as developments in corporate governance in EU and Asian countries, the role of regulation, behavior of institutional investors, the rights of shareholders, and new arrangements for financing. Presentations were made on these topics and active discussions were made.
