The 33rd Annual Conference of the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO) was held from May 25 to 29, 2008 in France (Paris). Commissioner Kumano from the Securities and Exchange Surveillance Commission participated in the conference. The next (34th) Annual Conference is scheduled to be held in Israel (Tel Aviv) from June 8 to 11, 2009.
Also, on this occasion in which securities regulatory authorities from around the world were assembled, the commissioner individually exchanged opinions with the representatives of major securities surveillance authorities worldwide.
