Participation in the IOSCO Asia-Pacific Regional Committee (APRC)


Asia-Pacific Regional Committee of the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO-APRC) was held from January 22 to 24, 2014 in Hong Kong. Commissioner Yoshida and staff of the Securities and Exchange Surveillance Commission participated in the Committee.

The APRC is one of the regional frameworks in the IOSCO, and consists of 23 IOSCO member countries and regions in the Asia-Pacific Region. It is a place for exchanging information related to the various issues of the capital markets in the Asia-Pacific Region and discussing the promotion of cooperation therein.

On this occasion in which securities regulators from Asian-Pacific region were assembled, the Commissioner individually exchanged views with the representatives of major securities regulators.
