Participation in the IOSCO Asia-Pacific Regional Committee (APRC)
Asia-Pacific Regional Committee of the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO-APRC) Meeting was held from September 18 (Mon) to 19 (Tue), 2017 in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Staff of the Securities and Exchange Surveillance Commission participated in the Committee.
The APRC is one of the regional frameworks in the IOSCO, and consists of 24 IOSCO member countries and regions in the Asia-Pacific region. It is a place for exchanging information related to the various issues of the capital markets in the Asia-Pacific region and discussing the promotion of cooperation therein.
On this occasion in which securities regulators from the Asia-Pacific region were assembled, the SESC staff individually exchanged views with the representatives of major securities regulators.
