International Conference for the 10th Anniversary of CPAAOB Japan

On March 12, the CPAAOB held the International Conference commemorating its 10th anniversary. At the opening of the conference, Dr. Kunio Chiyoda, Chairman of CPAAOB and Mr. Atsushi Saito, CEO of Japan Exchange Group made the keynote speeches. Subsequently, audit oversight bodies, securities regulators, international organizations, audit firms and investors had the panel discussions on audit quality and the role of auditors for enhanced corporate governance and the financial system stability. The conference was attended by approximately 200 participants from 25 jurisdictions.
