Y2K Status-Report during the Rollover Period

| 1. | No disorders that significantly affect financial institutions' customers and operations have occurred. |

Since yesterday at 17:00, it was newly reported that a bank has identified a disorder related to Y2K that might have minor effect on its customers and operations (failure in the procedure of changing the interest rate on overdrafts). The disorder has been restored immediately. |

In addition, it was reported that a non-bank moneylender has identified a disorder related to Y2K that may have effect on its customers and operations (malfunction of the ATM) and the disorder has been restored by yesterday. |
4. |
It was reported that of six disorders which was identified but not restored yesterday, five had been restored. The rest was expected to be restored by the end of this week. |
