    The Third Meeting of the "Working Group on Financial Inspection Manuals"            


The third meeting of the Working Group on Financial Inspection Manuals was held 
today at the Financial Supervisory Agency (FSA).

The Group's discussion focused on internal control systems in banking 
organizations and market risk management: 
-  the Group discussed internal control systems taking into account the recently 
 published Basle Committee's report on the issue; 
-  several members of the Group presented reports on market risk management to
 provide a basis for further discussion.

The next  meeting is  scheduled on 6 October.
