Securities and Exchange Surveillance Commission
1. Commissioner Yoshida went on a business trip to the UK and USA from September 2 (Sun) to September 13 (Thu) 2012. He gave a lecture at the Cambridge International Symposium on Economic Crime, and visited the Financial Services Authority (FSA) of the UK, the Securities and Exchanges Commission (SEC) of the USA, the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) and so on. 2. At the meeting with UKFSA , USSEC, CFTC and so on, he explained the current efforts of the Securities and Exchange Surveillance Commission, and exchanged views on maintaining and reinforcing the cooperative relationship between the authorities, and about various pressing problems regarding the current status of the securities market.
