Privacy Policy for Japan Fintech Week

1. The Financial Services Agency (hereinafter referred to as the "FSA") shall use the following personal information obtained in connection with Japan Fintech Week (Including FIN/SUM and other individual events held during Japan Fintech Week. The same shall apply hereinafter.) for the following purposes.

   Name, e-mail address, etc.	To send out newsletters, conduct questionnaires, and other communications related to Japan Fintech Week
   Affiliation, position, age, country of residence, etc.	To analyze the demographics of Japan Fintech Week participants and to administer, plan, and develop Japan Fintech Week and related events

2. Restrictions on use and provision

   The FSA shall not use the information in article 1 for any purpose other than those stipulated in article 1 or provide it to any third party unless:

   1. its disclosure is required by laws and regulations;
   2. such use is necessary for the response to illegal activities such as unauthorized access or threats; or
   3. otherwise such use is permitted by laws and regulations.

3. Security measures

   The FSA shall take necessary measures to prevent leakage, loss, or damage of the information stipulated in article 1 and to properly manage the collected information. The operation of the website may be outsourced to an external party, but the external party shall also take necessary measures for the appropriate management of the collected information.

4. Disclosure of your own personal information

   Regarding the information stipulated in article 1, you may request disclosure of your own personal information in accordance with the “Act on the Protection of Personal Information (Act No. 57 of 2003)”.
