Q.: Fukuho Bank, which is based in Fukui Prefecture, announced that it had started considering applying for the injection of public funds, and this would probably be the third case of such application to be filed under the Act on Special Measures for Strengthening Financial Functions. What do you think of this?
A.: I understand that this is the third bank that has started considering filing such an application. In light of the purpose of this act, we welcome the decision to consider filing an application.
