This morning, North Korea launched a flying object. However, the Chief Cabinet Secretary will make an announcement on that on behalf of the entire cabinet, so it was agreed at the cabinet meeting that the cabinet ministers should leave this matter to the Chief Cabinet Secretary.

In relation to the missile, is there likely to be any impact on the Japanese financial market and system?

While the Chief Cabinet Secretary is due to make an announcement, I do not think that there will be any impact as the Japanese financial system has so far remained very stable.

There has been a media report that an administrative action may be taken in the case of insider trading at SMBC Nikko Securities Inc. Could you comment on that?

That is a matter concerning a specific company, so I would like to refrain from making comments.

Regarding the case of AIJ Investment Advisors, witnesses will be summoned to testify before the House of Representatives' Committee on Financial Affairs today (April 13). What points do you hope will be clarified?

The Diet has decided to summon witnesses, and as the head of the Financial Services Agency, I appreciate the Diet's efforts regarding this case.
