I would like to ask about the accounting scandal at Toshiba. Yesterday, Toshiba submitted its financial results and securities report. In the securities report, Toshiba posted reserves in excess of 8.4 billion yen, anticipating the recommendation of an administrative monetary penalty to the Financial Services Agency by the Securities and Exchange Surveillance Commission (SESC) for false statements in securities report. Toshiba itself likely drew up this estimate, but where did this figure come from? Can we take this as a rough indication of the administrative monetary penalty to be assessed by the SESC?
