The Bill for Partial Amendment of the Financial Instruments and Exchange Act and the Bill for Partial Amendment of the Banking Act were approved by the Cabinet today. These bills are designed to cope with FinTech and other rapid advances in Information and Communications Technology, and we are hoping to see the Diet deliberate on them at an early date. For the details, the FSA official will hold a briefing early this afternoon.
