I would like to ask about virtual currency. As you have mentioned before, the idea of changing the term “virtual currency” to “crypto-asset” has been brought up by some experts. Although the substance will not change even if its name does, what comments do you have on changing the term?

It is often said that both “virtual currency” and “crypto-asset” are in use around the world, but I think that “crypto-asset” is perhaps the only term being widely used now.

If we fail to take this fact into account, people will wonder why we are still using such a term. Since the term “crypto-asset” is in common use around the world, it is simply a matter of thinking it is better to match up our terminology with this trend.
