[Opening remarks:]

The aim of the amendment bill of the Payment Services Act and others is to respond to the developments of information technology. This bill includes the change of the official name from virtual currencies to crypto-assets, reflecting international discussions where the term of crypto-assets is widely used. I hope that early deliberation of this amendment bill will be conducted on the Diet.
