Press Conference by ASO Taro, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Finance, and Minister of State for Financial Services

[Opening remarks:]
I would like to inform you of a reshuffling of the senior officials at the Financial Services Agency. It was approved at a Cabinet meeting held this morning, and will take effect on Monday, July 20.
Commissioner ENDO Toshihide will be honorably retiring, and HIMINO Ryozo, Vice Minister for International Affairs, will be appointed to replace him. Mr. HIMONO will be replaced by MORITA Tokio, Director-General of the Strategy Development and Management Bureau, and his successor will be NAKAJIMA Junichi, Director-General of the Policy and Markets Bureau. Mr. NAKAJIMA will be replaced by FURUSAWA Tomoyuki, Secretary-General of the Securities and Exchange Surveillance Commission, and his successor will be MATSUO Motonobu, Vice Commissioner for Evidence-based Policymaking.
Remaining in their posts will be KURITA Teruhisa, Director-General of the Supervision Bureau, and SHIRAKAWA Shunsuke, Vice Commissioner for Strategy Development and Management.
