Following the approval of the Cabinet meeting earlier, I would like to inform you of the personnel changes of senior officials of the Ministry of Finance and the Financial Services Agency (FSA) on Tuesday, July 4.
As for the FSA, Commissioner NAKAJIMA will voluntarily leave his position. As his successor, Mr. KURITA, Director-General of the Strategy Development and Management Bureau will become Commissioner of the FSA. And he will be succeeded in turn by Mr. YUFU, Secretary-General of Executive Bureau of the Securities and Exchange Surveillance Commission, who is to be succeeded by Mr. INOUE, Deputy Director-General of the Policy and Markets Bureau. In addition, Ms. AMAYA, Vice Minister for International Affairs, will also retire, and Mr. ARIIZUMI, Vice Commissioner for International Affairs will succeed her. He will be succeeded by Mr. MIYOSHI, Deputy Director-General of the Supervision Bureau. Vice Commissioner for Strategy Development and Management ISHIDA, Vice Commissioner for Evidence-based Policymaking HORIMOTO, Director-General of the Policy and Markets Bureau ITO and Director-General of the Supervision Bureau ITO will remain in their current positions.
