On Thursday the 27th, a basic agreement was concluded between the FSA and Hitotsubashi University. This basic agreement on collaboration and cooperation was signed as part of initiatives commemorating both the 150th anniversary of the foundation of Hitotsubashi University (a National University Corporation) and the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the FSA. Regarding specific projects, in the area of research, we are planning to conduct analyses to deepen the understanding of the stock market’s price fluctuation mechanisms, among other things. In the area of human resource development, we are considering providing training opportunities in which FSA staff can attend specialized lectures given by university researchers, as well as offering lectures to students on recent trends and issues in finance from an administrative perspective, among other measures.
