Parliamentary Vice-Minister Murai receives a Courtesy Call from the Deputy Minister for Planning and Finance of Myanmar

1.  On the 6^th of June, Parliamentary Vice-Minister Mr. Hideki Murai received a Courtesy Call from the Deputy Minister for Planning and Finance of Myanmar, Mr. Maung Maung Win.

2.  At the beginning of the meeting, Mr. Murai expressed his heartfelt pleasure to meet with Mr. Maung Maung Win again after they met in Myanmar last January.　Mr. Maung Maung Win stated his gratitude to the long-standing cooperative relations between Japan and Myanmar in Finance Sector.

3.  Mr. Murai said that Japan will continue to steadily implement the assistance based on “LIST for Myanmar’s Future” in close cooperation with Myanmar government.

4.  Both side reconfirmed the importance to further strengthen the cooperation in financial sector toward further activation of capital market and development of insurance market.
