FSA and European Commission (DG FISMA) adopted the regulatory cooperation framework established under Annex 8-A of the EU-Japan Economic Partnership Agreement
On March 23, 2022, the Financial Services Agency of Japan (FSA) and European Commission’s Directorate-General for Financial Stability, Financial Services and Capital Markets Union (DG FISMA) adopted the regulatory cooperation framework.
This framework complements additional practical arrangement, which is based on Annex 8-A on the Regulatory Cooperation on Financial Regulation of the Agreement between the European Union and Japan for an Economic Partnership.
