The first Meeting of the UK-Japan Financial Regulatory Forum and Exchange of Letters on Co-operation in the area of Financial Regulation with HMT
On June 9, 2022, the first Meeting of the UK-Japan Financial Regulatory Forum was held in London by the Financial Services Agency (FSA) and the HM Treasury (HMT).
On the same day, the FSA exchanged letters with the HMT on co-operation in the area of financial regulation. This letter complements additional practical arrangement, which is based on Annex 8-A on the Regulatory Cooperation on Financial Regulation of the Agreement between Japan and Uk for an Economic Partnership.
