A speech on “Regulating the crypto assets landscape in Japan” at the crypto asset roundtable hosted by OMFIF
On November 10, 2022, Tomoko AMAYA, Vice Minister for International Affairs, gave a speech on crypto assets titled “Regulating the crypto assets landscape in Japan” at a crypto-asset roundtable hosted by the Official Monetary and Financial Institutions Forum (OMFIF).
This speech presents Japan’s regulatory framework for three major policy perspectives for financial regulators to consider concerning crypto-assets: financial stability, user protection, and AML/CFT.
