The Financial Services Agency (FSA) contracted out the research on “Financial Institutions’ Current Status of Scenario Analysis based on TCFD Recommendations and the Related Transition Plans” to the Ernst & Young ShinNihon LLC.
The purpose of the research was to compare and analyze;
-
- the current status of scenario analysis disclosed by Japanese leading financial institutions (banks, non-life insurance companies and life insurance companies) based on TCFD Recommendations
-
- the differences of those scenario analysis among the sectors
-
- the specifics of their transition plans.
