On 25 February 2026, representatives from the Financial Services Agency (FSA) and the Bermuda Monetary Authority (BMA) held an in-person bilateral meeting in Tokyo.
Against the backdrop of the expanding cross-border activities of insurance companies and the growing importance of supervisory cooperation on them, the authorities exchanged views on recent insurance-related regulatory and supervisory matters, including key priorities at the International Association of Insurance Supervisors (IAIS), and explored opportunities for closer collaboration and coordination.
