Working Group under the “Public-Private Coordination Meeting on Strengthening Cybersecurity Measures in the Financial Sector Against AI-Related Threats” 

A working group has been held following discussions at the “Public-Private Coordination Meeting on Strengthening Cybersecurity Measures in the Financial Sector Against AI-Related Threats,” held on April 24.

The purpose of this working group is to deepen practitioner-level discussions to ensure that the financial industry, IT service providers, and relevant public bodies—including the government and the Bank of Japan—share a common understanding of threats arising from advances in AI technology and jointly consider appropriate responses.

Details of the working group held under the coordination meeting will not be disclosed, as they involve cybersecurity-related information.
