"The Fifth Report by the Expert Panel on Sustainable Finance" Announced

At the Expert Panel on Sustainable Finance (chaired by Takeshi Mizuguchi, President of Takasaki City University of Economics), a total of five discussions were held from October 2024. Amid changes in the environment surrounding sustainable finance, mainly in Europe and the United States, the panel reaffirmed the significance of promoting sustainable finance in Japan. The discussions focused on expanding investment opportunities for a wide range of investors who prefer sustainable investments, an issue that has long been regarded as a challenge.

Based on these discussions, “The Fifth Report by the Expert Panel on Sustainable Finance” (Attachment) has been compiled and is hereby released.
