Request for Cooperation upon Commencement of Acceptance of Applications for Monthly Support Money

The Program for Monthly Support Money to Mitigate the Impact of the Emergency Measures or Semi-Emergency Coronavirus Measures was launched targeting small-to-mid-sized corporations and sole proprietors that have been facing 50% or larger sales declines under circumstances where restaurants are required to shorten business hours and people are requested to avoid unnecessary outings due to emergency or semi-emergency coronavirus measures that have been in place since April 2021. Applications will start to be accepted (see the Attachment).
This monthly support money scheduled to be granted aims to support those businesses' voluntary efforts for continuation or restoration of business. Please properly inform the members of your association so that they will make efforts for the following matters in light of the purpose of the program.

Even in cases where early recovery of sales is not expected for the time being or loan conditions have already been modified, financial institutions should give due consideration in setting collateral or deciding on seizure so as not to hinder businesses' efforts for continuing or restoring business depending on their respective circumstances.
