Publication of the finalized “Venture Capitals: Recommendations and Hopes” (VCRHs)
Overview
FSA and Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) jointly held "Expert Panel on Venture Capital Funds (VC)" from April to June 2024, in order to encourage the development of the VC sector by making VCs that aim to raise funds from a wide range of domestic and overseas institutional investors more attractive as an asset class that can contribute to the long-term investment.
After public consultation, the Expert Panel finalized and published "Venture Capitals: Recommendations and Hopes" (VCRHs), which is expected to be used by LPs and GPs in their VC fundraising and management practices. VCRHs’ summary is available in English below.
