Establishment of ''Monitoring Team of the Management of the Resona Bank''
On May 17, 2003, the Financial Services Agency (FSA) established the ''Monitoring Team of the Management of the Resona Bank''. Major members of the team are as follows;

Tomohiro YONEZAWA | : | Director for Supervision, Supervisory Coordination Division, Supervisory Bureau |
Naoki NISHIDA | : | Director for Banking Supervision, Banks Division I, Supervisory Bureau |
Shuya NOMURA | : | Special Advisor to the Minister |
The team is composed of 13 officers; the above 6 and other 7 officers.The number of the team will be increased if necessary.
(Note) | Based on the ''Program for Financial Revival'' (October 30, 2002) and the ''Monitoring on the management of a 'Special Support Financial Institution''' (April 4, 2003), the FSA is to promptly establish the monitoring team which is composed of officers in the Inspection Bureau and Supervisory Bureau after the determination on the Special Support. |
