Change of the status of Shinsei Bank, Ltd.
- Today, the Financial Services Agency (FSA) approved the application by Shinsei Bank, Limited to change its status to an Ordinary Bank Charter on April 1, 2004, based on Article 6.1 of the Law Concerning Mergers and Conversions of Financial Institutions.
- Today, the FSA also approved Shinsei Bank's application to continue to issue debentures during the period and at branches shown below, under the provisions of Article 17-2 of the Law Concerning Mergers and Conversions of Financial Institutions applied mutatis mutandis under Article 24 of the Law.
