Participation in the IOSCO Asia-Pacific Regional Committee (APRC)

The Asia-Pacific Regional Committee of the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO-APRC) meeting was held from October 8 (Tue) to 9 (Wed) 2019 in Tokyo, Japan. Commissioner Indo and staff from the Securities and Exchange Surveillance Commission (SESC) participated in the meeting.

The APRC is one of the regional frameworks of IOSCO and consists of 24 Ordinary Members and 7 Associate Members in the Asia-Pacific region. It is a forum for exchanging information related to various issues of the capital markets in the Asia-Pacific region and discussing the promotion of cooperation therein.

On this occasion, where securities regulators from the Asia-Pacific region were assembled, SESC staff individually exchanged views with representatives of major securities regulators.
