Publication of a Draft Comprehensive Review of the Short Selling Regulation

The FSA has published a draft revision to the short selling regulation, as shown in Attachment 1. Going forward, revisions to the relevant cabinet orders and cabinet office ordinances will be made.

Furthermore, the FSA has published a draft revision to relax the restrictions concerning share buybacks as described in Attachment 2.
