FSA publishes the status of loans held by all banks as of the end of September 2016, based on the Financial Reconstruction Act

    The total amount of loans held by all banks as of the end of September 2016, based on the definition in the FRA (Act No.132 of 1998), is 7.9 trillion yen. The figure decreased by 0.5 trillion yen from 8.4 trillion yen as of the end of March 2016.

  • circleIn line with the change in the frequency of the reporting of the results of surveys on the status of loans based on the Financial Reconstruction Act from semiannually to annually, etc., conducted as part of the “re-examination of financial administration” (announced in December 2016open new window), from this occasion onwards, for the period ending in September, only the amount of loans based on FRA will be announced.
