Approval of Listing of the Osaka Securities Exchange on its own market
(Nippon New Market ''Hercules'')

• On December 11, 2003, the Financial Services Agency (FSA) received an application by Osaka Securities Exchange Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as ''OSE'') for the approval of listing OSE on the exchange securities market opened by OSE (Nippon New Market ''Hercules''), under the provision of Article 110.2 of the Securities and Exchange Law.
• The listing on its own securities exchange is subject to the Prime Minister's approval. The application by OSE was screened based on OSE rules such as Listing Regulations for Securities, Stock Listing Screening Criteria, Special Rules of Listing Regulations for Securities etc. on Hercules, and other rules (all rules approved by FSA), and as a result, it was admitted to meet the requirements of the screening criteria. Today, the FSA approved of the listing accordingly.
