(Excerpt)
(Friday, January 25, 2022, 8:39 am to 8:44 am)
[Questions and answers:]
- Q.
-
I would like to ask about the meeting of the Compulsory Automobile Liability Insurance Council held yesterday. There is an opinion that information should be thoroughly disclosed. However, the Council has been closed to the public for over two years. Reporters can only hear the discussion. What do you think of the fact that the FSA discloses less information although Council members discuss the need for information disclosure?
- A.
-
There are various councils, and I do not know the operation of all those councils, but according to the FSA, the Compulsory Automobile Liability Insurance Council was operated with due attention to preventing the spread of the coronavirus infection and balancing the transparency and the unfetteredness of discussion among members. In light of what you pointed out, we would like to consider better operation of the council, including the introduction of video streaming service to the public as one option.
