I will explain about the hosting of Japan Weeks.
Last fall, as part of its initiatives to promote Japan as a leading international financial center and to realize Japan as a leading asset management center, the Government of Japan held its first Japan Weeks during which various events were held with the participation of overseas investors, asset management companies, and other parties.
Following these events, in order to strengthen communication with overseas investors, etc., the government will hold the second round of Japan Weeks in the fall of this year. The five days from Monday, September 30 to Friday, October 4 will be designated as the core week with various events scheduled for the three weeks, including the one before and after the core week.
Also, during this period, an asset management forum will be launched on Thursday, October 3 to hold related events. In the events, there are expected to be opportunities for exchanging views on the various measures of the Policy Plan for Promoting Japan as a Leading Asset Management Center formulated at the end of last year, as well as on emerging management companies, sustainable finance, and other subjects.
We will open a dedicated website swiftly to communicate information of the Japan Weeks.
