November 19, 2014:	Results of public comments on amendments to the Cabinet Office Ordinance regarding the central clearing obligation of over-the-counter (OTC) derivative transactions «Summary» The FSA published the results of public comments on amendments to the Cabinet Office Ordinance regarding regulations on over-the-counter (OTC) derivative transactions. The amendment expands the scope of entities and products subject to the central clearing obligation of derivatives transactions pursuant to the "Financial Instruments and Exchange Act."
November 19, 2014:	Results of public comments on amendments to the "Order for Enforcement of the Financial Instruments and Exchange Act" and the "Comprehensive Guidelines for Supervision of Financial Instruments Business Operators" «Summary» The FSA published the results of public comments on the amendments to the “Order for Enforcement of the Financial Instruments and Exchange Act” and the “Comprehensive Guidelines for Supervision of Financial Instruments Business Operators,” following the 2012 amendment to the "Financial Instruments and Exchange Act." The amendments stipulate requirements to provide electronic trading platforms, and the scope of transactions and providers subject to use of electronic trading platforms.
November 14, 2014:	Results of public comments on the amendments to the FSA Regulatory Notice of “The Designated IFRSs" «Summary» On November 14, 2014, the FSA published the results of public comments on the amendments to the Regulatory Notice of "The Designated IFRSs” stipulated in the "Regulation for Terminology, Forms and Preparation of Consolidated Financial Statements." The amendments add the international accounting standards published by the International Accounting Standards Board between January 1 and June 30, 2014, to the list of designated IFRSs that can be used in Japan.

November 19, 2014:	Purchase of the trust beneficial rights of two credit cooperatives, the Kushiro Shinkumi and Shigaken Shinkumi «Summary» The FSA decided to purchase the trust beneficial rights of two credit cooperatives, the Kushiro Shinkumi and Shigaken Shinkumi, from the Shinkumi Federation Bank pursuant to the "Act on Special Measures for Strengthening Financial Functions."

November 25, 2014:	Publication of the agenda and handouts of the seventh meeting of the Council of Experts Concerning the Corporate Governance Code «Summary» The FSA and Tokyo Stock Exchange published the agenda and handouts of the seventh meeting of the Council of Experts Concerning the Corporate Governance Code, which was held on November 25, 2014.
November 23, 2014:	Financial measures to deal with disasters caused by the earthquake in the northern part of Nagano Prefecture (Nagano Local Finance Office, Kanto Local Finance Bureau) «Summary» On November 23, 2014, the Nagano Local Finance Office and the Bank of Japan’s Matsumoto branch issued the joint statement “Financial Measures to deal with disasters caused by the earthquake in the northern part of Nagano Prefecture” to relevant financial institutions. The statement requests financial institutions in Nagano Prefecture to appropriately deal with victims of the disaster considering their circumstances, such as by making flexible repayment of deposits.
November 20, 2014:	The 48th Meeting of the Financial Service ADR (Alternative Dispute Resolution) Liaison Group to be held on December 4, 2014 «Summary» On December 4, 2014, the Financial Service ADR Liaison Group will hold its 48th meeting. At the meeting, the Group will receive a report on the implementation of the financial ADR system, and will discuss further improvement of the system.
November 19, 2014:	Updated list of issuers of gift certificates in repayment procedures based on the "Payment Services Act" «Summary» The FSA updated the list of issuers who are repaying, have completed repaying or have announced the termination of use of prepaid payment instruments, as defined in the "Payment Services Act" (e.g. gift vouchers, gift certificates, and prepaid cards).
