April 25, 2014:	Publication of draft Ordinances implementing the 2013 revisions of the Act on Investment Trusts and Investment Corporations (Regarding regulations on investment corporations and investment trusts) «Summary» The 2013 revisions of the Act on Investment Trusts and Investment Corporations introduced rights offering as a financing method for investment corporations, as well as eased the restrictions on the acquisition of own investment equities by investment corporations. The FSA published draft Ordinances implementing these measures as required by these revisions.
April 22, 2014:	Result of public comments regarding Japan’s Stewardship Code «Summary» The council of experts published a summary of public comments, as well as replies to the comments, on the draft of Japan’s Stewardship Code. An English publication of the comments and replies is now being prepared.

The council of experts published a summary of public comments, as well as replies to the comments, on the draft of Japan’s Stewardship Code. An English publication of the comments and replies is now being prepared.

April 25, 2014:	Update of the reference casebook on new loans and support for management improvement and business turnaround (Add 1) «Summary» In October 2013, the FSA published a reference casebook on new loans and support for management improvement and business turnaround, presenting examples of advanced efforts and favorable practices by financial institutions. On April 25, 2014, the FSA updated this casebook by adding new cases.

«Summary»
In October 2013, the FSA published a reference casebook on new loans and support for management improvement and business turnaround, presenting examples of advanced efforts and favorable practices by financial institutions. On April 25, 2014, the FSA updated this casebook by adding new cases.

April 24, 2014:	Three orders imposing administrative penalty charges in cases concerning a violation of the Financial Instruments and Exchange Act. 1) 2) 3) «Summary» On April 23, 2014, the FSA issued orders to impose administrative penalty charges in the following cases: cases 1), 2), and 3) regarding insider trading of stocks of Super Tool Co., Ltd. committed by using information received from contract counterparts.
April 22, 2014:	Warning against three Qualified Institutional Investor Investment Businesses for making false statements to customers (Kanto Local Finance Bureau) «Summary» The FSA(Kanto Local Finance Bureau) issued warnings against three Qualified Institutional Investor Investment Businesses for making false statements to a customer.
April 22, 2014:	Administrative Actions against Interes Capital Management Co., Ltd. «Summary» On April 22, 2014, the Director-General of Kanto Local Finance Bureau issued an administrative action against Interes Capital Management Co., Ltd. based on the recommendation from Securities and Exchange Surveillance Commission (SESC). The SESC identified the violation of law by Interes Capital Management Co., Ltd. through on-site inspection.
April 21, 2014:	Three orders imposing an administrative penalty charge in cases concerning the violation of the Financial Instruments and Exchange Act. 1) 2) 3) «Summary» On April 18, 2014, the FSA issued orders to impose administrative penalty charges in the following cases: 1) a case regarding insider trading of stocks of Megane Top Co., Ltd. using information received from contract counterparts, 2) a similar case concerning the stock of OKWave and 3) a case regarding a false statement in the securities reports of Riso Kyoiku Co., Ltd.
