October 8, 2015:	Publication of the updated “Ordinance for Enforcement of the Insurance Business Act” «Summary» The FSA finalized amendments to the “Ordinance for Enforcement of the Insurance Business Act.” The amendments include the calculation of solvency margin ratio regarding certain reinsurance. The amendments will be enforced and implemented from March 31, 2016.

Administrative penalty charge against an employee of the Pioneer Corporation for committing insider trading «Summary» On October 8, 2015, the FSA issued an order to impose an administrative penalty charge in a case regarding insider trading of stocks of the Pioneer Corporation committed by an employee of the corporation.

October 9, 2015:

Administrative penalty charge against an officer of a company under negotiation for a contract with the Gokurakuyu Co., Ltd, for committing insider trading «Summary» On October 8, 2015, the FSA issued an order to impose an administrative penalty charge in a case regarding insider trading of stocks of the Gokurakuyu Co., Ltd., committed by an officer of a company that was under negotiation for a contract with the Gokurakuyu Co., Ltd.

October 9, 2015:	“Symposium on protection against financial troubles” in Osaka City «Summary» On November 19, 2015, the FSA and Kinki Local Finance Bureau will jointly hold the “Symposium on protection against financial troubles” in Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture. The symposium is aimed to prevent consumers from getting involved into troubles related to financial products and services.
October 8, 2015:	Warnings about entities that are operating money lending businesses without proper registration «Summary» The FSA (Local Finance Bureaus) updated its warnings about entities1 that are operating money lending businesses without proper registration. The warnings include the updated list of entities that misrepresent their registration using fictitious or stolen registration numbers. Kabushiki Kaisha Futaba Plan*, Kabushiki Kaisha CSS*, Kabushiki Kaisha Metto Corporation*, Kabushiki Kaisha Kinokuni*, Kabushiki Kaisha Business Life*, Kabushiki Kaisha Hikari Shōji*, and Kabushiki Kaisha Star Field* * These corporate names, written in Roman characters, are not available in English.
October 8, 2015:	Publication of the FSA Policy Evaluation «Summary» The FSA published the evaluation report on the FSA’s policies for 2016 on its website.
October 5, 2015:	Publication of the updated “Ordinance for Enforcement of the Money Lending Business Act” «Summary» The FSA finalized amendments to the “Ordinance for Enforcement of the Money Lending business Act” pursuant to the enforcement of the “Act on Preparation of Relevant Acts Accompanying Enforcement of Act on the Use of Numbers to Identify a Specific Individual in the Administrative Procedure (Act No.28 of 2013).” The amendments have been enforced since October 5, 2015.
