The FSA finalized the amendments to a cabinet office order to amend the “Order on Terminology, Forms and Preparation Methods of Consolidated Financial Statements,” following the ASBJ’s publication of Practical Solution on Operators' Accounting for the Concession-based Private Finance Initiative Projects (PITF (Practical Issues Task Force) No.35). The amendments reflect the revised practical solution published by the ASBJ.

The Kanto Local Finance Bureau took administrative actions against nine notified business operators of specially permitted business for qualified institutional investors (SPBQII) who failed to file the required notifications to the authorities, ordering the abolition of the business operators’ entire specially permitted business for qualified institutional investors and the improvement of their business operations pursuant to the “Financial Instruments and Exchange Act.”

Inviting stakeholders such as recently listed local companies, local startups, the stock exchange, securities firms, regional financial institutions, venture capitals, and relevant administrative authorities, this forum provides an opportunity to discuss various issues regarding capital market and to share good practices of funding for growing businesses in the local economy.
