Recommendation for administrative disciplinary action against Stock Japan Co., Ltd.open new window

<Summary>

The SESC recommended that the Prime Minister and the Commissioner of the FSA take administrative disciplinary action against Stock Japan Co., Ltd. (hereinafter "the Company"), which is an Investment Advisor/Agency.
This recommendation is based on the findings of an inspection of the Company, under which the Director-General of the Kanto Local Finance Bureau identified that the Company had made an advertisement that significantly conflicts with facts, etc.
Specifically, the Company made an advertisement that significantly conflicts with facts on its website regarding the expected profits from its investment advice and included false statements in its statutory books and documents to make the advertisement appear true.
In addition, the Company made advertisements that could cause serious misconceptions and made false statements to customers.

<Summary>

The Securities and Exchange Surveillance Commission (SESC) made a recommendation that the Prime Minister and the Commissioner of the Financial Services Agency impose an administrative monetary penalty order of 12,000,000 yen against FUJIO FOOD GROUP INC. (hereinafter, “the Company”). As a result of an inspection from a disclosure-regulation perspective, the SESC found that the Company had prepared consolidated financial statements that contained an excessive amount of current net profit due to improper accounting treatment and submitted Annual Securities Reports and Quarterly Reports that contained those statements. The SESC accordingly decided that the Company had made false statements in the disclosure documents.

The Securities and Exchange Surveillance Commission (SESC) made a recommendation that the Prime Minister and the Commissioner of the Financial Services Agency impose an administrative monetary penalty order of 38,000,000 yen against amana inc. (hereinafter, “the Company”). As a result of an inspection from a disclosure-regulation perspective, the SESC found that the Company had made false statements in its Annual Securities Reports, Quarterly Reports, amended reports of Annual Securities Reports and Quarterly Reports, due to improper accounting treatment.
