Results of public comments on amendments to the "Cabinet Office Ordinance on Financial Instruments Firms Association (JSDA* et al.)" «Summary» The FSA published the results of public comments on the amendments to the "Cabinet Office Ordinance on Financial Instruments Firms Association." The amendments revise JSDA's price disclosure system for transactions conducted outside the Financial Instruments Exchange Markets such as those traded by using the Proprietary Trading System. *Japan Securities Dealers Association

July 18, 2014:	Date set for the first hearing of an administrative penalty case concerning an individual who received information on IMPEX CORPORATION «Summary» The FSA published the date of the first hearing of an administrative penalty case concerning an individual who received information on IMPEX CORPORATION, in which the defendant is prosecuted for committing insider trading by using information received from an employee of a company in contract negotiations with IMPEX CORPORATION.

Publication of financial measures to deal with disasters caused by the heavy rain that accompanied Typhoon No.8 (Yamagata Local Finance Office, Tohoku Local Finance Bureau) «Summary» The Yamagata Local Finance Office issued the statement "Financial Measures to deal with disasters caused by the heavy rain that accompanied Typhoon No. 8" to relevant financial institutions. The statement requests financial institutions in Yamagata Prefecture to appropriately deal with victims of the disaster considering their circumstances, such as by making flexible repayment of deposits.
