October 13, 2017:

Publication of a cabinet office order to amend the “Regulation on Terminology, Forms and Preparation Methods of Consolidated Financial Statements” < Summary> The FSA proposed a cabinet office order to amend the “Regulation on Terminology, Forms and Preparation Methods of Consolidated Financial Statements,” following the ASBJ’s publication of Exposure Draft of Proposed Partial Amendments to Accounting Standard for Tax Effect Accounting (Exposure Draft of Statement No. 60). The proposal is to reflect the amendments proposed by the ASBJ.

Administrative penalty charge against an employee of CCS Inc. for communicating insider information regarding stocks of CCS Inc. < Summary> On October 12, 2017, the FSA issued an order to impose an administrative penalty charge against an employee of CCS Inc. for communicating insider information regarding implementation of a tender offer of shares of CCS Inc. (by a tender offeror) to an individual who used the information and committed insider trading.

The warnings include the updated list of entities that misrepresent their registration using fictitious or stolen registration numbers.
