Publication of finalized amendments to the “Cabinet Office Ordinance on Definitions under Article 2 of the Financial Instruments and Exchange Act” «Summary» The FSA finalized amendments to the “Cabinet Office Ordinance on Definitions under Article 2 of the Financial Instruments and Exchange Act.” The amendments ease the restriction on resale of corporate bonds in the solicitation of offers to purchase for professional investors and add the document certifying the representative to a foreign qualified institutional investor.

September 25, 2015:	Summary of results of the quarterly survey on business sentiment of small and medium-size enterprises «Summary» The FSA published a summary of results of the quarterly survey on business sentiment of small and medium-size enterprises implemented in August 2015. The FSA, in cooperation with Local Finance Bureaus, conducted interviews and collected information from local chambers of commerce.

September 18, 2015:	Updated list of entities that are operating financial instruments businesses without proper registration (Kanto Local Finance Bureau) «Summary» The FSA (Kanto Local Finance Bureau) issued warnings to entities1 that are operating financial instruments businesses without proper registration. Capital Swift Investments Ltd., and PWS Service LTD.
September 17, 2015:	Revision of the FSA regulatory notice concerning the designation of related corporations of credit rating agencies (group designation concerning explanatory items of unregistered ratings) «Summary» The FSA updated the list in its regulatory notice concerning the designation of related corporations of credit rating agencies (group designation concerning explanatory items of unregistered ratings). These designated credit rating agencies are unregistered but belong to the same group as registered credit rating agencies and fulfill certain requirements. The duty of explanation required of securities companies is mitigated when the credit ratings of agencies on this list are used, compared to when the agencies are not included on this list.
September 15, 2015:	Publication of “Statistics of NISA Accounts” «Summary» The FSA published “Statistics of NISA Accounts.” As of June 30, 2015, there were 9.21 million NISA accounts in total, and over 5.19 trillion yen (approximately 43.43 billion USD) was invested through the NISA accounts.

Publication of the JFSA Policy 2015-2016 «Summary» The FSA published the JFSA Policy 2015-2016. This Policy provides clarity on what mission the FSA seeks to achieve and what specific policy the FSA plans to adopt in program year 2015 (from July 2015 to June 2016).
