October 23, 2015:	Administrative penalty charge against an individual for market manipulation regarding the stocks of the YAMAZAKI Co., Ltd. «Summary» On October 23, 2015, the FSA issued an order to impose an administrative penalty charge against an individual for market manipulation regarding the stocks of the YAMAZAKI Co., Ltd.
October 23, 2015:	Publication of the results of fund monitoring research «Summary» The FSA published the results of fund monitoring research as of March 31, 2015. Every year, the FSA conducts research on funds (including mutual funds, investment corporations, and collective investment schemes) regarding their status of sales and operation pursuant to the “Comprehensive Guidelines for Supervision of Financial Instruments Business Operators.”
October 23, 2015:	Updated list of entities that are operating financial instruments businesses without proper registration (Kanto Local Finance Bureau) «Summary» The FSA (Kanto Local Finance Bureau) issued warnings to entities that are operating financial instruments businesses without proper registration. Warnings were issued to the following entities: - Atlas Capital Financial Services Limited - X GLOBAL Markets Ltd
October 20, 2015:	Administrative action against the Investment College.Inc «Summary» On October 20, 2015, the Okinawa General Bureau of the Cabinet Office took an administrative action against the Investment College.Inc, requiring the firm to suspend its business for one month from October 20 to November 19, 2015, and to improve its business operations. This administrative action is based on a recommendation from the Securities and Exchange Surveillance Commission (SESC) as a result of an inspection. The SESC found that the company violated the “Financial Instruments and Exchange Act” by operating investment management business without proper registration.

October 22, 2015:	Publication of the updated facilitation scheme for the online government procedures «Summary» On October 14, 2015, the FSA finalized amendments to a facilitation scheme for the online government procedures. The facilitation scheme is based on the facilitation policy to improve convenience of the online government procedures decided at the meeting of the Chief Information Officers of government institutions on April 1, 2014.
October 20, 2015:	Publication of the agenda and handouts of the second meeting of the Council of Experts Concerning the Follow-up of Japan’s Stewardship Code and Japan’s Corporate Governance Code «Summary» The FSA published the agenda and handouts of the second meeting of the Council of Experts Concerning the Follow-up of Japan’s Stewardship Code and Japan’s Corporate Governance Code, which was held on October 20, 2015. The Council published a statement in terms of listed companies’ responses to the Corporate Governance Code.
