The Minister of State for Financial Services, Taro Aso, delivered an outline of the “Reports on the Measures for the resolution of failed financial institutions” in the Committee on Financial Affairs of the House of Representatives. The reports, addressing two semiannual periods extending from October 1, 2014 to March 31, 2015, and from April 1, 2015 to September 30, 2015, were submitted to the Diet respectively on June 26, 2015 and December 11, 2015, pursuant to the “Act on Emergency Measures for the Revitalization of the Financial Functions.”
